if someone experienced leads you through a cigar, pipe tobacco, or a hookah pipe, you will probably have a very good time, these are slower, more pleasant from a sensory perspective, and more gentle experiences than a cigarette which is harsh and fast. Cigarettes you must inhale right into your lungs like air, these others you run through your both and upper circulatory system without inhaling it all the way. Nicotine can be pretty addictive, but you won't be caught the first few times you try smoking, especially if you are in a social setting. Two cigs over 30 minutes to start, or one cigar, one pipeful of tobacco, or one hour hookah session is my reccomendation for a try
you probably will not like the taste of the drink, depending on what you try, but you will almost certainly like the effects-- be sure not to go overboard or too hard or too fast, and have at least 50% of your drink's volume in water to maintain hydration, and eat some snacks while drinking as well
