I want no characters in my story

I do not like to think of myself when I'm reading.

I guess god type. I don't self insert, just enjoy the story.

Something similar to God. Sometimes I imagine 'what if it were me', but it's not really necessary to enjoy something.

God, I just want to see an interesting world or an entertaining journey. I might speculate between volumes/books where the story might go or what the characters might do but that's about it.

Last time I self inserted was when I read Love Hina. That made me sad so I don't so it anymore. Simple as.

God type, I try to completely forget myself and the real world when enjoying any story.

Doppelganger type, but since there are exactly 0 characters similar to me, let alone ones worth self-inserting into, I'm a God type.
I've considered writing my own wish-fulfillment slop story because of this, but I don't think there's anywhere I could publish such a thing nor anyone who would want to read it, so I haven't.

It depends on the story if I care about self inserting or not, so I could count as either chameleon or god. I've enjoyed series where I didn't like a single character and wouldn't consider myself in their place in any way. Usually though I prefer to read stories where I can at least imagine myself in the position of one or more of the characters.

Easily God type. I actually hate the entire idea of self-inserting. It's why when I read real literature I always like third-person narration better than first-person.

is it self-inserting if I imagine the scenario of what I'm reading in my head, but with no limit to alteration of it to suit my need?
For example, I read a manga about MC and his party full of girls, I could imagine this same set of cast doing something else entirely and not even fitting their personality at all, having entirely different special power, living in completely different world, with one of the girl just getting punched in the stomach and collapsing, puking, and crying

Doppel->virtually Cham. since I took the self-insert pill (God means you don't self-insert). I look for traits I can sympathize with and latch onto them until I can look at the character and say "that's me". I'm metaphysically them. Sometimes I'm so them that I'm not sure if I'm them or they're me. The paradox of circularity. Did I always think this way or did it bounce from that character? Did the character self-insert into myself?

I think I've been all of these at some point in my life.
Recently I'm the doppelganger type, I actively seek out stuff with mcs similar to me. The problem is that I can't relate to the average japanese anime highschooler. I need an mc that is especially pathetic.
Though I'm still capable of being god type if I can't self insert but still like the show or manga.
