It's no different from other games that allow you to recolor your own sets with whatever you want. Most older MMOs don't have this option so the only way they can recolor is by putting them on separate items and locking them behind difficulty. Left most red set is only obtainable by doing the hardest version of the raid, right most is from baby normal mode. I give them a pass for this, since most of the time no matter how you recolor a set, if its base design is bad, it'll look like shit no matter what.

Although it has its flaws, it is, after all, a product of "Tie Xue Du Shu" (Iron and Blood Reading). Its "Three Views" (worldview, values, and outlook on life) are proper and correct, and it can be seen as the origin point for the recent trend of "Chinese Imperialism" fiction. The beginning is a bit like "Invincible Chengguan," with some old gags like American soldiers parachuting into the capital and getting lost, or the "Chaoyang masses" catching spies.

Overall, the plot is very creative and a fun read. My only regret is that I can't experience it myself and immerse myself in this era of isekai colonization. Among stories about isekai colonization, this is a very good one.
