You won't see the end of Part 2 for 3 more years, we're still at the 1 cour. Asa's still suicidal as she was at the start of the story. Playing super-hero and being tricked by Shigga into repaying her debt to Denji distracts her occasionally from trying to harm herself, like last chapter when she did a LIVE moment, but it changes nothing in the bigger picture that she's actively planning, and trying, to kill herself so she can kill Yoru too. Basically what you have is an MC who still didn't recieve the most rudimentary development needed. She still doesn't even know Shigga played her, nor does she know Denji only lives for sex at the expense of his comrades and loved ones, she's acting completely oblivious to everything all the time.

Basically what that alone tells you is that her development as a character hasn't even started yet. It will likely start after the precognitive dream in picrel plays out. On the other hand you have the main narrative, which has two checkpoints:

1. Asa killing Denji / weaponizing him, as foreshadowed by the promo art - everyone thinks that will probably happen during the July School Festival which is a month away in story
2. Defeating Death devil / stopping the apocalypse - two different things, but I do not think those will be resolved when Denji dies during the School Festival. That will drag on after the fact.

And that's just one of the cues. There's plenty more, also the pacing is indeed shit so keep that in mind too.

I feel like the arc in iself is way more subtle in its development and the action takes just second part, also much of the fight in the manga has a lot of horror imagery when Reze brutally murder the other demon hunters.
