In the isekai world they are in a tower and outside the tower is basically a small town like area + forest surrounded by darkness. In the tower was access to the dungeon and when someone cleared a floor for the first time they got a “world piece token” which when used could dispel the darkness outside in a way of the person using the token’s choosing.
