It doesn't take much imagination or experience with media to imagine a fight scene with no music, grimy atmosphere, choreography that resembles a real street fight (it's messy and over very quickly, the blows are not telegraphed for the viewer's benefit). You might call that idealization in a different direction, and you may be right, but your statement that art must have a "coherent logic" is also not true. Dadaist and certain abstract art eschews these notions

Most writers these days don't actually have any understanding of what people who fell through the cracks of society go through. Homelessness isn't a simple thing, some people fucked themselves over, others were dealt a bad hand, and many have aspects of both. Some give up, some turn to drugs, some turn to crime, and some try their damndest to climb back up despite society doing everything it can to keep them there. Basically, homelessness isn't simple, and unless you're playing a Yakuza game, writers treat it as simple.

As for why its uncommon its pretty fucking obvious. Most people who watch anime are in high school so making anime for them to relate to is easy. Most fucking homeless people and beggars can't actually fucking watch anime so it makes no sense to make something geared towards them.
