I wonder how consistent they'll keep the Ikarashi artstyle in the show. It's not an easy feat, only a handful of animators at Trigger draw like that (Ikarashi, obviously Kanno, maybe Akihiro Sato and Sho Oi). The first season only had a one year timeskip, I don't think CDPR wants to limit themselves while making Cyberpunk S2 by jumping around too far ahead in the timeline so Edgerunners will probably take place around somewhere in the 2070s with the 2079 as their farthest limit (since Phantom Liberty gave us a glimpse of that period).

This looks more promising than the first season. Imaishi wasn't a good fit for such a serious story, I expected Dead Leaves 2.0, an action packed gorefest and was left mildly disappointed. Ikarashi definitely seems more suited for a grimy psychological drama considering his past episodes.
