It was pretty erotic, but it always maintained a wholesomeness that kept it from being outright pornography. It was a really good cute little romcom with josei/seinen qualities.

Kind of a bummer that immediately after this series the author went to do a serialized story about a swinging couple engaging in some cuckoldry.

Oh yeah I wasn't trying to contradict you. And I was the same way, I wasn't more interested in the cute budding relationship in Nana to Kaoru. It's still probably one of my top 10 mangas and I feel like somehow there were some genuinely moving moments in the manga. Like the entire arc about Kaoru learning to be herself and not be a slave to her mother's expectations.

Not surprised at all the author had two different epilogue series after the main series ended. It was probably hard to say goodbye to the characters.
