No, I mean it, it's going to happen, the only way this story can advance is if Ruka finally realises that Kazuya will never love her, she needs to bow, apologise and talk about how much she's hurt Kauzya and interfered with his life, I think it would be really sweet if Ruka humbled herself and cheered Kazuya on.
Surely the endgame is Kazuya realizing that simping is not the way to make her say yes, but rather convincing Chizuru that her taking care of him and his burdens was her form of love all along.
Likewise Ruka will have to realize how one-sided her relationship is and how Kazuya has never truly reciprocated her love and so she must move on.
