I mean, putting aside the obvious plot never allowing it plus whatever feelings Lloid has for her, strictly speaking about Twilight's mission, this wouldn't be that much of a problem? I'm feeling way more optimistic about a kiss next chapter than I was going into this chapter. As long as that happens, I'm okay with it getting pushed out two more weeks. As it stands, there was already a lot going on this chapter. We got some Garden development at the beginning, which spilled into the medicine subplot, which spilled into the office ladies seeing Yor and Hemlock together and being suspicious, which was all capped off with Yor getting introspective about her relationship with Loid.
I'm going to give Axeman the benefit of the doubt and say this wasn't stalling for once. Garden is extremely underdeveloped so him carving out more time to build up the relationships between them seems worthwhile to me. The office ladies are setting up something too.

Axeman has stated that his idea of Twilight as a character is different from the fans' idea of him.
Fans likely see him as completely smitten under the mask, but Axeman still sees him as closed off and on guard.

Which is fine and all since he shouldn't give into the whims of the fanbase so easily, but the glacial pace, refusal to touch the family, and inconsistent release schedule combined with this means Twilight comes off incredibly cold at unexpected times. Spy autism and work mode are too strong.

Personally for me it was the end of the Bus arc where he comes off as so uncaring and flippant about Anya despite him apparently rushing to the scene after his mission.

The relationship between the pruners feels somewhat sibling like to me, but in a pack of wolves type way. They bicker like children with an edge to it in that they will actually kill each other, though that's not taken as an offense at all. I agree. If Yor seems unhappy, and she is definitely very unhappy right now, and Loid finds out she was seen with another man, I think that would at the very least make him nervous. Especially considering their recent conversation about how long their marriage would last. It's worth noting that Yor never actually said she wanted it to continue and though Loid guesses correctly that she does, she's very noncommittal about the whole thing verbally.
It's a situation rife with opportunity for him to look back on and assume he was wrong.

Not even joking, I think Loid and Yor would benefit from Loid losing his confidence in their marriage. Yor is content to stay unchanged because she thinks Loid only wants her as a mother, and she's right. That's all he needs from her now.
But with Hemlock, Loid can't fix it just by seducing her anymore either because Yor could want a relationship with someone that isn't Loid Forger. He brought up the chin kick this chapter too, so he still believes she's not romantically interested in him specifically.

To be fair, all major HAPPENING incidents have been very recent. The Garden expansion and associated lore drop happened in the current arc and the Desmond reveal happened in the arc just before it. Axeman's habit of jumping around doesn't help, but I think it's too early to say either is off the table.
I think the poaching problem was deliberately left open to give Axeman a chance to play with Garden in one-offs in the future, though I have a feeling the next major thing with them will be Yor's backstory, whenever that ends up being. Maybe we'll get Thistle before then.
I could see Melinda continuing to pop in occasionally as she has up to this point, though hopefully more often, and the therapy sessions continuing.
Anya's mind-reading confession will probably be a nothingburger until very lategame at best, and we'll find out next chapter if Loid and Yor's relationship drama is getting deferred or if this turns into something.

It's still Axeman so there will be plenty of stalling in between, but hopefully the declining sales keep his ass in gear.

I'm predicting that Yor will play off meeting Hemlock as an old friend who was giving Yor a present from his girlfriend who she also knew from childhood.

We will then eventually get a double date arc where Loid flubs it again but progress is made with HemGym.

This will later evolve into a HemGym wedding arc that doubles as a powderkeg meeting place for Garden, Wise, SSS, NUP etc, which will also turn into a nothingburger besides the cute new married couple being happy.

The change in setting probably has people confused. Most long arcs take place mostly in one place and then go somewhere else for the epilogue. This is not always the case, but it usually is, which is likely why people see all these open plotlines and think they're pointing to the start of a new arc rather than this one going on a bit longer.
