How do you cope with the fact that CGI has become normal and widely accepted in anime, thanks to MAPPA?

No one likes doomfags and recently they've been getting especially uppity. Anime has had CGI for two decades or so at least. Like most doom narratives, this CGI one is completely reliant on someone only starting to notice something in more recent times. There is no new quality drop, no new restrictions on content, no new technology that will ruin everything, etc. Occasional shitty anime and/or shitty elements in certain anime have been a thing forever. You probably don't notice most applications of CGI which is why you think it is a new thing. Maybe just watch and enjoy what you like instead of trying to convince everyone it is over because of this or that.

I don't care about CGI, but a different enshitification that isn't even talked about on here anymore - the solution is the same though. Accept that your "anime" is not the same as a lot of the "anime" you are referring to. This is the boomer strat that has been passed down through millennia. Just be happy that you got it while it was good enough to be able to discern the wheat from the chaff. All the people that attack you for this are just nuweebs (or old ones that either need to be told what is good by others and/or have long-term brain development issues). I promise, they will be doing the same as you in 10-20 years, except instead of CGI it will be about intrusive use of AI. They will then be insulted by the nu-nuweebs all the same.
