/a/ mods should be fired
Do mods have an active disdain for /a/ now? Just curious as to why there's a multiple hour long thread on a western cartoon, which they are actively deleting posts in. It's been getting more and more blatant lately. If staff doesn't want anime other than shonenshit here any more they should just be honest about it. No one would come to this site if they were upfront about their intentions. At this point I think /a/ would be better off if it had no moderation. I would prefer gore spam to this.

What thread? Unless I have it filtered I don't see it in the catalog.

FYI all the decent members of /a/'s mod team left in 2024. There was a mass exodus. They really do need to clean house and start over. Every single remaining member is complicit in /a/'s current state and utterly useless. Not only would I fire them, but also permanently ban all of their IPs, as they are surely contributing to the board's current state.

Cry about it. No one cares about whatever japanese comic you read to pretend to be smart. People like fun anime and manga

No and I think there needs to be more threads about trans representation in anime.

Might as well call it "/a/ - anything influenced by anime & manga" given the recent influx of chinkshit with no Japanese creative staff

/a/ isn't fun to use at all any more and it just feels like a rabid den of Twitter fags that actively hate anime. I can barely be bothered to go into seasonal threads ant more and that's the only thing this board had going for it over other sites. Better discussion for everything else can be found elsewhere, and now it's not even worth it for seasonals. Most of the people here seem like milennials spilling over from /v/ that have nostalgia for the worst garbage and haven't watched any anime. Imagine being nostalgic for the most dystopian corporate era in history where people ignorantly consumed garbage. It's like being wistful for a time of ignorant slavery. These are the very same people who are sad about fast food prices being too high, literal cattle.

It's about a literal western cartoon. It'd be like making a Simpsons thread and saying it's the best comedy anime.

i like the mods here. if anything they just are too lenient about letting the people who only exist to bitch in these threads roam free.

it shouldn't take too long to realize that someone like this doesn't have the best interests of the health of this website in mind.

I think most of the shitty threads are the mods themselves. They are the most likely candidates for being here 20 hours a day. I think they just sit on here and samefag and bump their awful threads all day. They've been caught samefagging multiple times. This place feels so fake now.

I dumped some Ruri Rocks webms to correct a mentally ill shit poster, which in hindsight was probably an astroturfing mod, and discussed the show for a bit, and that's pretty much all my /a/ posts for today.

Go into the ruri rocks thread, are you retarded? I'm the only one who made them because no one puts in even 2 seconds of effort any more. Most of the posts that keep /a/ usable and not just a hang out for /r9k/ tier interpersonal drama and le comfy "hanging out" are made by an extremely small amount of people. I would say there's 5 people tops preventing this place from becoming a complete dump.

/a/ is worse than reddit now. And I say this as someone who doesn't like or use reddit. If I go to /r/anime and look at it right now it's objectively better. If I put a screenshot of /r/anime next to /a/'s catalog they look exponentially more knowledgable and interested in anime than us. It's very depressing. What will /a/ look like a year from now?

I honestly get the impression most people aren't even watching anime any more here, they just try to start arguments and (You) farm. The CITY thread was so weird, it's just a mixture of doomposting and someone trying to forcefully rally people to be positive about it like it's a group decision.

I could turn that thread around in 2 seconds but fuck kyoani niggers honestly. Too much shitposting and spam over the years, they are on their own. How hard is it to be genuinely optimistic about anime, no one here watches anything so you can just absolutely steamroll retards. Most threads here are made by people with an absolute disdain for anime. It's just like something awful now, right down to the screeching about moe. They want to turn the board to shit so they can comfortably discuss toonami all day.
Anonymous No.280325113 [Report]
Mods are absolutely clueless and helpless. They cannot identify trolling and they cannot discern quality. They just barely sentient enough to keep things on topic and frogs out.

Next april fools should allow OPs to moderate their own threads
