To Heart Manga Creator Ukyou Takao Dies
>The family of manga creator Ukyou Takao made an announcement through Takao's X/Twitter account on July 5, revealing that Takao died on June 30 due to a heart attack. His family held a private funeral.
>Takao is perhaps best known for his manga adaptations of the To Heart television anime, as well as its sequel To Heart Remember my memories. The original To Heart manga ran in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine from 1997 to 1999, while To Heart Remember my memories ran in the same magazine in 2005. ADV Manga released the manga in English. The anime that the manga adapts were themselves adapted from AQUAPLUS' iconic To Heart bishōjo game.
