It might just be because I saw Universe first, but I always preferred Ryoko and Ayeka having a Betty and Veronica thing going on with Tenchi, and everyone else is just kind of along for the ride. IIRC, Forever even ends heavily implying that Ryoko ended up winning out.

The OVA version with all the implied incest/bestiality/other weirdness, and Tenchi knocking up basically anything with a uterus by the end was just a little too out there for me. Plus, I just never liked the idea of him getting his hands on my first waifu Mihoshi.

The closest we ever got was that part in the movie where Washu teleports her while she's taking a bath. That got a lot of pauses back in the day, I'll tell you that. I think it blew my mind at the time because to my recollection it's the first time I had ever seen an animated bare ass (not counting maybe a Simpsons character or Ren and Stimpy).

I went to SDCC like 20 years ago, and there was a booth in the vendor hall that was selling old animation cels, including stuff like Ducktales, Tiny Toons, and I recognized some Golden Boy in there too. In hindsight, I wish that I had bought some of those. They were pretty cheap too, as I recall.
