>>280362430Literally every other person with an anime pfp has a rainbow flag in their bio these days, and it’s just so obnoxious. Honestly, I follow more e-celebs and content creators than I probably should, considering how much I complained about the implications of it. I actually like some of them enough to keep up with them outside of JewTube, but I mostly follow and see digital artists on Twitter and I still can’t escape it. Even Kevin Cirugeda—the main writer for Sakuga Blog, one of the best available for those who genuinely care about why anime looks the way it does, animation quality, staff details, and behind-the-scenes production insight, all that good stuff—has the flag in his bio. There has been the faintest whiff of a vibe shift pushing back against the globohomo lately though, thankfully, but it’s been painfully slow.
