I don't have any complaints about it. The story is 6/10, inoffensive but not absolutely captivating. The mangaka doesn't write in a way that produces a lot of discussion, which is why I think people barely talk about it.

Worldbuilding, plot and character development are great. The MC is really interesting and so far powercreep was avoided. The story is more plot driven than fight driven.
Unlike Soul Eater (and Fire Force) it's consistently good

The art style didn't appeal to me at first, either, but it grew on me like Houseki no Kuni's CGI.
