Well it’s not about simplicity it’s about novelty. People want to see different characters and situations otherwise they will get bored. So watching overpowered MC win every fight he gets into can feel a bit repetitive and boring. It’s also disappointing when a side character gets introduced and hyped (leading to audience investment) only to amount to nothing. Solo Levelling is almost like watching Endless Eight at times only even longer.

I can read two doors, bed on one side and desk with white pipes near on the other and a dresser between the bed and the left door, but visualizing all that in my head in a Victorian style is the straining part. And then visualizing Klein in the motions of moving around it, investigating the room and his apparent wound in a mirror with a lamp by it (of a specific kind which the name of evades me) all is more straining than normal visualization.

I would say that practicing your ability to visualize fine details keeps your ability to do such prominent, with reading being the most efficient form of this type of practice.
