There's nothing elegant about routes. I'll admit, it's better than running a full harem all the way to the end and then going solo but routes either fall into two bucket. All the routes end up cookie cutter and very vague, the consequences of the choices and how it changed things end up constrained because you only have so much real estate until you move to the next route. Or the routes exist but there is one route which gets the preferential treatment in which case, why even do routes at all.

To be fair, we have no idea if the Asahi and Yuna of this world fell for him. It's completely possible that the Yae future is connected only to her chapters (which is why she has memories of being set free and why shes still a painter) and that Uryu didn't experience romantic moments with Yuna/Asahi in that timeline, it's basically if Amagami only had Yae as the main girl. Maybe it'll be explained in the last chapter? The sisters also love each other a lot and wish for each others happiness so I wouldn't be surprised if they decided it's okay to lose in 2 timelines for the sake of the winner.

What's wrong with marrying 1 on paper but still live with all of them together? Once Uryu steps into each route he probably doesn't have the memory of loving all the sisters, he probably only has the memories of the sister he's marrying so with this Yae route he only has the memories connected to Yae and so forth. In this Yae route, Yae fell in love with Uryu, Uryu only fell in love with Yae, and the other two girls never fell for him.

So what will the final chapter be? Them back in the joint world or what?
