Take Tomori's approach with the post-its for example. She asked some very basic, but important questions, like asking Sakiko how she was, and also writing some encouragement or advise. That proved quite effective as Sakiko needed that, however, Hatsune already knew what's going on with Sakiko, and considering she regards herself responsible for the mess Sakiko is currently in, I doubt she felt in the right position to be giving her any words of advise much less encouragement.

That's why ep12 was a very important first step for Hatsune, because she managed to finally come clean with Sakiko. To be honest, I did think it was clever of them to put Mutsumi together with Nyamu at the end. Despite her usual behaviour, we've seen Nyamu probably has the coziest family amongst the Bandoris along with Saaya, and during her call with her family we know Nyamu loves her family, and she seems to be the homely type.
