>>280430049The specific pay off to that arc, and the switcheroo as to what the build up is, is actually very good. While it was coming out it was bogged down by the release pacing and anons wanting a bunch of drama about all the things coming out of it (like Marin and Gojo getting famous).
It also suffers somewhat among readers for the pay off to Gojo's trauma that's been around since the first chapter. But in practice that was a sacrifice to set up the reveal of what he was actually angsting about. It was a brilliant idea to have that set up and his realization that he loves Marin and is jealous of the attention she gets, because the advice he gets near the end of the arc from various people looks like its about him overcoming his trauma, but it's actually advice about how he needs to nut up and confess.
People also don't like that the manga ended almost immediately after, which compounds the above things. There were various obvious stories to follow up on, such of Gojo and Marin dealing with the fallout of potentially being discovered, having the childhood friend/cousin becoming more of a character, just showing off their relationship dynamic at all in regards to them continuing the cosplay stuff. It's unfortunate, but those are the reasons a lot of anons don't appreciate how the Haniel arc progressed.
