Yes that was me. Aside from watching a few series I've been wanting a hard break for /m/ stuff for a while. I'm not even watching the new Ultraman series for the time being and Kamen Rider Gavv has no idea what direction it wants to be in (easily the worst Rider series of the Review era so far). I managed to read a few comics way on the backlog for decades (yes, really, with an S) that simply weren't available until someone uploaded pages to YouTube. By 60 meter kaiju standards he's basically standard showa era. What separates giant monsters from Toho and Tsubaraya and everyone else is sheer weight, it's rare for any monster not from those companies to be more than 200 tons of they are 75 meters and or under. Those two on the other hand 30,000 tons tends to be the standard for monsters around 50 meters and doubled for 100 meters and so on.
