Best Student Council

It was pretty good. Some if the comedic timing with the dub was great. Hilary Haag is amazing, every time Kayori is on screen she steals the show and makes me laugh so hard.
I found it funny that the President is hyped to be some jade beuaty beyond belief, despite being the ugliest zone in the show.
Cindy's voice direction was so bad it would have made the show unwatchable if she had more then one or two lines.
A lot of the arcs were good, properly dramatic, but the ending was so cheesy it lowers my overall opinion by a couple points.
You would think the pupept would be more annoying than he is. In actuality, he's one of the better characters

On a similar note, i need the help of /a/nons to find a anime from my childhood memory. (No images or names, just visual cues i remember)

1.) It aired on animax
2.) You could build model mechas and then turn them into actual mechas??
3.) The main cast was three characters, it was a school like scenario where the students were taught to pilot mechas
4.) The main cast could not pilot the standard issue mecha so they all got custom mechas and they started scoring higher than the previous best students.
5.) Apparently the dad of one of the main cast (or related) is the co inventor of this mecha thing?
6.) There is a super villian who blows up an entire island (Not gundam, i checked).
7.) Apparently at the end all students with their own mechs, submit their models, combine it to make a super mech? to fight the villian's overpowered mech.

When I was about about 13 or so back in about 2007, my family got a anime channel that I can't remember the name of but I could only watch it when the adults werent watching anything of their shows, so this is what happened to be on during that hour. Anybody else watch it? It was the first non mainstream anime that I ever watched. I remember always being a little disappointed by it because there was pretty much no action, and it wasn't quite sexy enough to jerk off to. Actually it kind of sucked but I still feel nostalgia towards it.

This show suffered horribly from playing back scenes they just showed. I feel like some episodes I skipped like 10 minutes worth of reused scenes. Plus the complete inability of the soldats to hit a target started getting silly. Still, I really liked the relationship between all the noir girls and the climax was both gay and kino.

Back during, like, 2018 or so I basically had a triple feature marathon(using the term losely cuz I did take breaks) of 00s shows nobody talks about nowadays consisting of Gankutsuou, Noein, and Ghost Hound.

Hyper Police, and I'd do it again. I don't know if this'll mean anything to /a/, but it kind of like if Shadowrun got a lighthearted comedy buddy cop anime. It's very pleasant and it weirdly feels like a sequel to Inuyasha set into the far future.

Definitely a weird show with weird character progression, especially with the MC's sister who was made to be some sort of rival only to pathetically fizzle out as she gets dunked on by everyone around her, except the bad guy, despite clearly not being mentally well.
