I rewatch shows a lot and not just my all time favorites, most prefer to watch something new but half of the times i prefer rewatching something i have already seen, a good that i have a poor short term memory

I basically don't rewatch a show unless it's been 10+ years since I saw it. I also barely watch anime, been 8 months since I last watched a show.
I reread a short manga last month, but that's even more rare than rewatching anime

Depends on how much I like it
I've rewatched k-on and yuru roughly every year since I've seen them
I rewatched spyxfamily immediately after finishing it just because I think it's so much fun. I've probably rewatched bocchi the most because it's so short and is always a good time. It's just a very tightly written show with constant fun animation
Currently wrapping up my frieren rewatch, then gonna rewatch girls last tour. I try not to rewatch more than one show at a time, and most of my "slots" for watching stuff are either finished unseen shows or seasonals. Basically I'm always rewatching something I like while most of my watching is new stuff
Thanks for reading my blog

I only rewatch stuff I really like, and I try to give it at least a year or two since my last watch. Some stuff I watch at least once a year, like Kara no Kyoukai. I'll also rewatch the first season of something if it's getting a sequel years later, but again, I only stuff I really enjoyed.

While some of my favourite anime are from rewatches I'll still go multiple years without rewatching anything. It just seems to happen in phases or during a really barren season.
Pretty much always goes wrong with things I watched 15+ years ago so I've avoided some like 5cm/s to just keep the original impression.

After I forgot most of it, if I know I enjoyed it, I sometimes rewatch a show. As I get older, I barely watch new shows anymore. I still do sometimes, but not too often, but I think I'm starting to enjoy old shows more
I'm lucky though because I have a girlfriend and brothers who like anime and we watch old shows together, I understand why normalfags like youtube reacting to shows and shit, because it's more enjoyable when you do it with someone else, so sometimes I force my girlfriend or my family to watch old shows I already saw years ago, and it's super fun I almost feel like I'm watching the show for the first time too
rewatching something should be a shared experience, I guess that's my point

I struggle with rewatching because I can usually remember every scene and plot point even if itโ€™s been years. The plot suspense is a big part of enjoyment for me. One exception to this is GitS SAC & 2nd GIG, Iโ€™ve rewatched it about 7 times and itโ€™s always very good with the exception of a couple episodes. I find myself wishing I had a lot of pot or dementia so I could rewatch my favorite shows like itโ€™s the first time.

I re-watch my favorites fairly frequently, but I also have shows which I have a relationship to that I can't really put a name to. Shows that I'm not sure what to think of but still think about and find pieces that I really love. I've re-watched Shinsekai yori five times probably and every time I come out with a new opinion of it.

If I was then it would have to be for something other than the plot. I can remember what happened in an anime that I last watched over 20 years ago, even stupid shit like a filler episode where piccolo gets his driver's license. I do want to rewatch some of the shows that I saw as a kid in their original Jap dub though.

Don't really rewatch shows. As a kid I would rewatch reruns on Toonami all the time, but there's so many shows I have to watch that I don't have time to rewatch them.

Maybe if I ever get a gf and try to get her into anime I'd rewatch some entry-level stuff like FLCL but other than that not really.

I rewatch Toradora every year as well.

>>280417187
Watching it in one week wouldn't do it for you. Endless eight was more so the endless summer loop. When it was coming out, all streaming viewers suffered the same episode ALL summer. It was as close to the yuki experience one could get. It was impactful due to it, and albeit a poor reception with the audience, I consider it brilliant.

Lately, I've been doing it more often.
It's not that nu-anime is bad; it's just that some surprisingly good ones have been released recently. I rewatch old series to see how they compare.
I still like both.

So far I couldnt convince myself to rewatch any show except klk. It never feels like the right time, and the thought of not liking it after all keeps me from doing it.

I feel like I owe it to a program to give it a fair shake.
That means at least 3 episodes
And if it's something well-known I sometimes feel like I should stick with it even more
That can mean a lot of time invested
Just finished season 1 of Rozen Maiden. I didn't really like it from the very first episode but given how popular it was here 20 years ago I wanted to see if it got better. It didn't. That means I watched 12 episodes of a show I didn't really like.
Hell I really kinda feel like trying the second season on but I just don't see it getting more enjoyable.
Obviously that's all on me but I think it's a common way of feeling.
Suiseiseki was cute, though

Depends. Anime I've rewatched most times is probably Toradora and Haruhi (you know why), outside of events, I think I rewatched Ping Pong 4 times. Gets better every time.
I do like rereading manga more, to be honest. My most reread ones are the ones that flow easily, i.e. Bakuman, Grand Blue, REAL. I usually reread them in a couple seatings after work/during weekends.

Honestly I felt like S1 had too much boring drama.
I never really got to know and like Jun, so his concerns and insecurities leading to his becoming a hiki didn't mean anything to me. He was just a boring character in every sense of the word.
The best episode was the one where they all did some fake acting and that's about as SoL as it got. More of that would have been a lot better.
