Onpu Segawa. >>280426899
I think the writers just forgot about her somewhat except for the occasions where she's needed for cuteness or to save others, she literally skipped ahead in her witch training after Hana nearly flooded the entire place

Somehow the seasons of these shows where these underage girls are forced to care for babies end up being really good for some reason. Most of the seasons of Precure where the Cures had a baby were extremely good. I’m infertile and don’t wanna have kids but watching the baby grow always makes me happy. People online act like this shit’s encouraging little Japanese girls to be parentified or get teen pregnant or some shit but that’s like calling baby dolls teen pregnancy propaganda.

I'm really divided on in too, for me it was pretty uneven when it came to keeping my interest. Heights are really high and ending is legitimately amazing and very touching, but the childcare aspect and witch exams being present once again made me doze off more than just a few times.
It was the season where I both laughed the most and had moments where my boredom was at the highest point.

I think when I initially watched the show this was also an issue with me, but it's well worth getting to the end of the show's season and I truly do mean that because there's an episode with a massive payoff for doremi in specific, won't spoil it but just getting to know the characters along their way does build them up for the finale, despite being quite wishy washy with the rules they originally set up which're more or less discarded for a more episodic feel.
season 1 is the best overall, but again there're outliers of episodes that reach highs other shows can't get close to for me personally, some have stuck to my head ever since.

Doremi herself when she has her hair down.
Also, watching Sharp now, little by little.
The whole anime got a 180º on the theme with it. It`s way more serious now and you can expect some feels in the episodes, but i`m enjoying a lot how they are developing the characters. Also, as far I watched, episode 10, I don`t really remember seeing any lewd like in the first season.

Pop took off her Godzilla undies in public after pissing them. That scene was intact in the 4kids version, fun fact! This is great, Precure would never do this…
>>280431734 >Get fucked if anyone calls you a witch >Decide to act and dress as close to a stereotypical witch as possible
If Doremi didn't do it, someone else surely would have.

The setting outside of the magic bullshit really feels like it’s alive and it matters, at least in this season. I feel like in a lot of Precure seasons the Precure’s lives outside of each other and anyone who isn’t involved with the magic shit simply don’t matter. The Futari wa duology didn’t have this problem though.

This might be the only mahou shoujo series where I actually like the main girl more than the rest, but to be perfectly fair both Onpu and Momoko are close, it's just that Doremi is THAT good.

Yeah you could tell it's a passion project. Just for the record, the order goes OG, Sharp, Motto, Dokkan, then Naisho. Naisho are bonus episodes set during Motto. Personally I recommend going season order as listed since Naisho is meant to be watched after the fact but if you want to watch timeline order with Naisho after Motto (like some recommend apparently) it's cool too as Naisho doesn't have spoilers for Dokkan. Sharp and Motto also have a movie each.

To be precise, it was Ojamajo for 4 seasons, then Toei made Ashita no Nadja for the same time slot, then it's Precure up until now. Doremi/Nadja/Precure also air during the same Super Hero Time programming block as Super Sentai and Kamen Rider
