So I saw the first episode, and OH BOY do I have thoughts, especially since the first season is my favorite anime.

So first thing's first, we are so back. It's just like old times. Fight scenes kicked ass and the humor still landed pretty hard. It was a bit off with the explanations, but it's the first episode and I bet they just wanted to get the cliffhanger solved ASAP so they could get to the real meat. The new cast is good, and I'm sure I'll get used to it, but I'm not a fan of Stocking so far. Solid work but you can TELL it's Vee. The "King of Hell" cliffhanger had me going "here we go again" both in a good and bad way. Overall I'm looking forward to it.

On question on my mind: Garterbelt says only five minutes have passed, so I'm wondering: will it still take place in 2010, or are they gonna slide the timeline?
