I mean, seriously, I doubt anyone cared about those giants in Punk Hazard before. Most just think they are the result of Ceasar's failed giantification experiment. But now looking back at it, there is no explanation why and how Ceasar could put them in the ice, and why they dressed like prisoners.
Plus Franky's line about Pluto could not be made by humans. At first it sound like aliens built the ship. But now it makes sense. The ship is so big it has to be made by giants.
The one question left is why so many places are involved with Pluto. It was built in Alabasta ( Lily involved) but its actual location is Wano. But those giants also left the blue print in Water 7. Finally they got captured in Punk Hazard. What a mess.

Robin gets a fighty moment here and there but at this point in the story she should be neck deep in studying ancient lore and stuff like that. Instead she had that one throwaway scene about it in Wano which didn't really say much anyway and barely mattered.

Oda just seems to be in love with giving the new characters of the arc a lot of attention while b-crew strawhats just sit in the back and passively make reactionfaces or have minimal input.

I think you're going for a circular reasoning here. The "no saint title means half-blood, no family name means commoner" is something people came up only out of these incomplete infoboxes, but since they repeated it enough times, some started treating it as canon. So now that these were completed in the volumes, these are considered a proof of full-bloodness. But we don't know how admission into the CDs work. It could have very well be that anyone who becomes a CD becomes a "saint" and is adopted into one of the families. E.g. the next time we see York, she could be "St. York of the Figarland Family".

There are mistakes that are never corrected in the volumes. And again, it didn't necessarily have to be a mistake, the infoboxes aren't exhaustive. It's possible that Oda simply didn't expect people to go so wild with speculation based on lack of info in the box, so he added it as a clarification.

Like Shanks's hometown apparently being West Blue; unless he refers to God Valley and he had some stock on booze left after 38 years, a hometown of his mother would be a reasonable guess.
