Ghost blade become popular because he has a mysterious aura to him. Women - most likely older women- were the ones to start his popularity simply because he didn't talk much and was attractive. He fit the mysterious killer but already had those attendances within himself. His wife also seems to be antisocial as well. Neither one of them loves themselves nor each other as they are simply going through the motions of 'love'. It reminds me of women who go through the motions of a relationship and the only thing that spooks them in to dumping/ changing is their preggo scare.
The only one who changes is the mother when something life changing happens to her. Ghostblade has too much trauma/ptsd from his family to truly understand what a functional family is.
Once his child is born does he really start to understand his father's intentions but not the emotions behind them. He'll most likely struggle with understanding intent of emotions as well his own emotions or lack thereof.

Maybe not more than Cyan's yet but I think it'll get there quickly. Loli's arc just feels like a buildup, she has zero character growth (not that they were trying, just saying). Cyan's I liked the plane scene but there was a lot of messy shit in between with the orphanage and her followers and the cursed childhood friend that was kinda losing me at points. It was still good overall. Queen's I barely remember at all and it was more recent than Cyan's. Queen isn't bad to watch but not particularly compelling either.
I already connect more with Captain Autismo (shocker) and think it has a lot of potential since he killed so many people and any single one of them could come back to haunt this arc in a big way. I LOVE how they portrayed the busy house full of noise growing up...until they showed it twice in the same episode, I hate that shit. His dorkiness (like Cyan's) is very endearing too. The girls are all just kind of there and cute, but time will tell. I think I'm going to dislike Johnny a lot but I'm super hyped for X.

Then it cuts straight to him already being married and his wife leaving him, only for this scene to be interrupted by some sped through flashbacks of how he met her. We didn't get to see him become a husband, we got to see fucking snapshots.
We saw him kill the guy who held her hostage and how she then walked past him. Then we got 5 seconds of them eating dinner on a date. 10 seconds of them watching a movie. And 20 seconds of them on the altar. And 30 seconds of a nurse telling them she is pregnant.
All with the most minimal of minimal animation. Practically sliding stills coupled with literal stills. And just jumpcut, jumpcut, jumpcut.

Had these events actually been full episodes and something we actually got see across his arc, then sure, maybe that would have been good stuff. But this was fucking shit.

Maybe she comes back and twists the knife (heh) about how shitty he is at being a family man while he's all "but muh duty". I could see her becoming a really hated character, and at the same time as somebody earlier posted, she's almost as autistic as he is so should we even be that shocked if she says more horrible shit? It's only been one episode so who knows but it can go a lot of interesting directions. Maybe the wife never comes back (big doubt) but obviously Nuonuo HAS to tie in to the long game somehow. I think it's perfect to see Ghostblade react to Loli and her dad having a moment. It's a parallel to his own father-daughter relationship except we actually get to be inside his head to see and hear how he feels. This makes it way more compelling to me than seeing Loli's side of "yes dad it is dangerous but I want to be a hero!" which is executed fine but I've seen it a trillion times in other media. Not that I'm some well versed marvelfag retard but I can't think of that many husband/father heroes where those relationships get focus and development. Again we're only one episode in, so the direction of where it goes matters a lot but I see good potential here. Also how the trust system prevents him from speaking now that he actually wants to hit me in the feels a bit.

I think that one of the reasons for why spergs like me like cartoons is because emotions are way more emphasized and simple there compared to live action. Unironically it's the opposite. A psychopath wouldn't need to reassure himself his victims don't hate him much less do these mental gymnastics about weakness and how the people he's killing are wrong.

I feel like I'm in the minority regarding liking Loli's arc. Her arc was satisfying, and felt like it was better interwoven with the lore compared to Queen's arc. Cyan's was also good, but its rushed ending was disappointing. In contrast, Loli's arc didn't feel rushed, and concluded her important obstacles without holding your hand. It also gave an open ending for Ghostblade to take the stage. Genuinely wonder why people are saying her arc was terrible. Sure, it was no Nice/E-soul, but it was an enjoyable ride all the way through.

Online fans (aka the ones talking about a series) are usually either waifu fags or fujos and the first aren't into these sort of women and series for some reason. The series that attract the majority of the otaku audience are anime with a primarily female cast, younger characters (most Hero X women are adults) and if the female characters end up in a relationship it only works for them when the boyfriend is the MC and relatable.
