The manga abruptly goes back to the past from the wedding, so it does feel like he dreamt everything, but then the honeymoon and all that shenanigans still happened. So it's just an artistic choice. The issue isn't with Yotsuba winning, it's how the manga was written as a whole. The one-on-one moments with her and Fuutarou, such as her "confession" and their hang-out on the playground, were leaps and bounds better than any interaction between him and the other girls. If this dude actually sat down and wrote a proper love story and was free from editor meddling, I'd bet money on it being good.

In terms of physical attractiveness I find myself most draw to Ichicute and Nino. Nino can rock both short and long hair, a rare asset in a woman and is more fashionable to the others. Nonetheless it dawns upon me that Ichika is even better looking and more desirable as a woman and person. She stands in her own as someone without ire, someone who can grow from past mistakes and one who supports the growth of others. Besides her playful nature and sharp tongue, she can still be flustered and love struck and captures the feminine allure one yearns for in a partner. From an objective standpoint, she is qualitatively the best girl. 1 without none to compare.
