Kaito as a character ironically has a lot more going for him than Shalala ever did which is why his face heel turn is possible, but that's more on Idol actually having a competent scenario writer instead of a hack like Kingetsu.

Well we can make it gayer and mero is a kid born from Darkine and Queen magical moment.

Here's my crack theory:
The "person" who Kaito was talking about was Meroron, which is why for story reasons he's been absent while she's been around since they would have recognised each other, it's also why she conveniently got bumped away without him seeing her this episode.
However, Meroron no longer recognises him now when she sees him, because he's what she gave up to become Zukyoon.

When Uta asked why Purirun and Meroron look older as Cures, it's because they ARE older, they just naturally act immature as fairies.

Kirakira Precure A La review 34!

Ultra cute cat Yukari playing Ciel so hard was great. Absolutely loved it.

Summary for the anons that need it: The evil familiar sends out more minions. Yukari enjoys accessorizing her familiar, until it runs off into some woods. Yukari follows, only for it to get agitated and slam into Yukari transferring their consciousnesses. Totally unphased, Yukari goes catting about to run into the local boss cats who've just lost to some Fairies. After hearing the story Cat-ri offers to help only to be attacked; she quickly dispatches them with cat belly rubs. The cats submit to her and make her the leader. At the shop Familiar-Yukari has appeared and baffled the girls as she steals Akira's dried sardines and begins eating them. Cat-ri leads her army to the watering hole where a pack of fairies led by Kirarin. After some words between leaders the General's magic forces the cats and fairies to fight. Kirarin can't stop them, but everyone listens to Cat-ri and pauses. She challenges Kirarin and quickly dispatches the fairy. Cat-ri is a victor and demands everyone leave her watering hole, cats and fairies. Kirarin is not having it and attacks again eventually cornering Cat-ri at a cliff edge. Cat-ri submits and jumps, Kirarin chases her down, leaving everyone baffled how they got to this position. Still everyone comes together to drag Cat-ri and Kirarin up where Cat-ri promptly disappears as no one is near the watering hole now. The General attacks now that Cat-ri is alone, but Parfait is there to defend Cat-ri. The other cures show up, minus Macaron, and begin fighting, but aren't ready for the slippery foe. Luckily Cat-ri knows what is up and gives one of the General's minions a good swipe only headbutt her body and transfer back. Macaron is up now and Parfait is not happy that Cat-ri never said who she was. Still the two dispatch the foes quickly and the fairies and cats all get a big feast from the shop.

I really like the overall Cure dynamics. It's not as quite as strong as Maho's but I think it's an underrated aspect of Kimi to Idol. It also helps that the villains, while not the best, are still pretty good, and the overarching plot is interesting. My final ranking definitely depends on how well it wraps up all of the loose ends, but it's my 4th favorite season for now.

To be fair, I'd say that with most seasons, you can tell how you'll feel about it by the halfway point. While I'd say that Wonderful improved a bit overall after the summer arc, what I'd thought I would rate it by this point and my final rating didn't change all that much. Kimi to Idol doesn't seem to be really one of those seasons right now though; it's surprisingly unpredictable. Maybe it will be one of those seasons in retrospect though when all is said and done.
