You can tell the mid 2010s were the transitional period to the isekai festa that reigns today. From the summer 2015 season the only isekais there are Overlord (whose popularity would lead to more isekai stuff being made) and Gate. Also, the decline of magic school shows would start somewhere along this period.

Sadly this thanks to all the same Isekai slop. Also nice gets. I was first in line to hate battle harems and harems in general because they were all nothing but blue balling. Never would I guessed something even worst would replace them.

Ngl, this was one of the anime seasons I had the most fun with. Plenty of fun shows here and there with enough variety to not get bored. I was about to enter college back then and in a way this season was the epilogue of my highschool years. I feel old, but also glad to experience it.

I'm still pissed how they butchered Jitsu Wa and Gakkou Gurashi. Five ecchi shows that weren't utter shit airing in one season is something I severely miss though.
