I dropped the series at like volume 12, shit is way too drawn out. Asato could have wrapped up the story in 8-10 books if the publisher wasn't pushing her to make it as long as possible.

It's understandable why we aren't getting it at least. The content they would be adapting with the volcano fight and the Phoenix would be really hard to do, and the first season already was riddled with production issues.
