>>280658189Having now seen some clips of it, I think it's a rather interesting take on the parasytes. From what I've seen the k-show gives them a lot more physicality in movement, from attacking to just getting around.
The manga and anime portray the parasytes as a lot more unnatural but humanoid, standing around stiffly as the tentacles make quick, sharp strikes portrayed as blurs. Meanwhile, the K-drama often has the actors throw their bodies into the attacks, as if they're slinging the tentacles, which makes the attacks feel slower and imprecise but a lot more powerful in comparison (visually speaking). The parasytes also move around a lot more, with them jumping, ducking and sliding around as they fight instead of standing stock still. The physicality of the attacks makes it more entertaining to watch as a live action show, which probably just comes down to a fundamental difference in the medium.
Another interesting point is that the k-drama seems to have the parasytes use their tentacles a lot more for fast locomotion as well as sprinting using the human host body, whereas in the manga and anime this is more rarely seen and the parasytes prefer a slow, stoic Terminator stalk. It's interesting because it's not difficult to imagine the former being a more realistic use of the parasytes' abilities, but it loses a bit of creepy-factor compared to the latter.
Overall I'd say the manga and anime portray the parasytes as more unnatural but human-like with an intelligent, calculating manner, while the k-drama seems to see them as more beastial and brutally violent.
