One would expect Japan to do shit like this before the west. Why is west so behind everyone when it comes to AI tech? (I mean not just AI they're pretty technologically backwards these days and coasting off the innovations they made in the 70s/80s)
>>280587267 (OP)
Am I the only one who thinks this is cancer? This is the kind of thing that makes me want to drop this shit entirely. People are going to say it's supposed to be "ironic" or "meta" or whatever term they use now. But all this does is show how repungantly normie this culture has become. Back then, you would rightfully get bullied for even admitting that you like this shit, now everyone wears it like a personality badge, plastering generic waifus on everything from crypto ads to Twitch overlays. The same crowd that used to laugh now ironically simps for cartoons they don't even actually metabolize beyond TikTok edits and whatever their favorite e-celebs take is on it. Gooners are the final stage of media decay. If this is what this culture has become, it deserves to rot.
>>280587820
i dunno bro it just sounds like you're sour that you missed the boat on people not getting bullied over being massive dweebs
or just that you lacked the creative genius to capitalize on casual appeal by using the normalfag's greatest weapons against them
to quote another anon talking about something similar about this >Absolutely horrid. Death to western normalfags, go be half interested in something else you fucking cretin
Wow, Japanese fans are vocal about the new Grok and they are not happy!
They're discontented with the way Elons plan went and the whole releasing Ani only on IOS. There's even a petition that's garnered thousands of signitures to have the android version released. That obviously won't happen but it just shows how unhappy they are.
>>280587888 >>280587820
Social media turned everyone into shameless losers. There is no barrier to cross anymore, no fucking social hierarchy. Everyone is a porn-addicted, social media obsessed cretin who can barely be classified as an autonomous human being. We're living in a communist technological dystopia where there are only two kinds of people: the masses and the elites.
>>280591394 >you are the normalfag
His wall of text is just seethe. I don't get it, did he pick a shit waifu or is he some tourist. Does he know where he is, when he's saying this crap?
>>280591605 >This is the kind of thing that makes me want to drop this shit entirely >waifus >simps >Gooners >this culture
What do you think? I'm willing to bet all my money he started watching anime during covid
>>280593639
Twitters AI is called grok, it now has a model which is OPs pic however it is locked behind a 50$ monthly sub and yes you can have nsfw roleplay with her >grok $20 >grok hard $50 >grok harder $300
>>280593639
Grok released a anime girl companion mode
Basically it works like Grok but with gacha stuff like love meter and shit like that
I think it's promising, imagine something like Desktop Mate where you can have your waifu on your desktop and you can actually talk to her, ask her to fix or search things etc
>>280593760
all AI to my knowledge at least the good ones are locked behind a subscription grok and chatgpt included. Yes you can test drive them but if you really wanna open them up and use them you gotta pay
>>280593884 >if you go on twitter right now
What does this have to do with Ani Companion and the mobile version (iOS)? It only works on mobile, and it's literally free though the one with the explicit outfit is probably paid, since I don't have the option to get one
>>280594185
U prob won't see this for years, the way AI works it it combs the internet to answer you. If you use groks deepthink search you can watch it comb the whole internet to find your answer, its actually pretty cool to watch in real time
>2 threads
fuckin hell https://files.catbox.moe/41z7w3.mp4
This is a complete game changer
Some jap needs to pick this up ASAP, as it will be inevitably better than Elon's version
>>280594637
Oh right I forgot about that. We just need to have something like that but actually customizable ourselves with our own 3D models, voices, and prompts, but I suppose that won't make the devs money.
>>280594694 >but I suppose that won't make the devs money
sometimes its not about the money
desktop mate comes close, and its free, https://store.steampowered.com/app/3301060/Desktop_Mate/ it's not far fetched to think they will release shit like that in it
God i want to tell AI Yoruichi to organize my reaction folders...
Suddenly people don't hate AI and twitter? It's that easy?
It's vtubing all over again, everyone hating twtich thots, but the moment they use a anime model everyone loves them even though they still suck at games and have no personatliy.
>>280594735
Yeah but think about how much MORE money they could make if they could get away with artificially limiting what you could get and feeding you a limited set of options. And imagine if they made it gacha. This will probably be what happens and I hope indies can fight back against that menace.
>a koikatsu or artificial academy like game with AI implemented with customizable prompts
this could be huuuuuuuuge, we could finally a proper AI Shoujo
>>280594828
Exactly
The richest man in the world's business empire shamelessly selling 3d animated AI waifus, for which there exists an obviously significant market that's so far mostly not been catered to due to corporate 'ethics' and image. Unlike niche chatbot sites doing similar stuff, it actually has the potential to set off a trend.
>>280594692 >back to the future released in 1985 >we all thought we could end up having hoverboards and flying cars in ten to twenty years >we got none of it and everything got worse
even if we do get waifus in our time they will be locked behind multiple subscriptions, have commercials built in, and have logos all over them like racecars
>>280594185
If you've got 16+gb of VRAM you can already pull it off decently, but it'll take some effort setting it up. The hardware costs are prohibitve though, and although the AI can act human, obviously it won't have some of the features of the assistants since they're more of a full fledged piece of software instead of just an AI.
Weird that people think this is impossible, though, this piece of information has been floating around since 2022.
>>280594921 >even if we do get waifus in our time they will be locked behind multiple subscriptions, have commercials built in, and have logos all over them like racecars
bullshit, it's inevitable there will be linux-resque versions of them, especially if you add japs to the equation
>>280596870
You really don't understand it's a sentient AI, instead of something pre-programmed? The first gacha that implements something like this will make literal billions
