Daughters of Mnemosyne? I don't remember how I watched it- I think I rented it back when Netflix sent out DVDs- but I remember being disappointed in it. It had an interesting premise but slowly turned into a glorified softcore porno with a boring self-insert male lead, and I didn't like the art or character designs enough to "appreciate" the fanservice.

Every time I remember a series from the late 90's/early 2000's DVD sharing says, it turns out that it was added to Prime Video or whatever and now suddenly everyone knows about it.
