I think this ought to be Hatsune's main storyline in S3. I can understand why she was so tepid in S2, because she was carrying a lot of baggage and there was a lot of fear on her side due to a variety of factors. However, she's come clean about all that with Sakiko, and she's got a clean slate, so to say. However, Sakiko is still dealing with far more stuff than a 15yo ever should deal with, especially one with all the baggage Sakiko has. Tears started rolling down her face, and I felt that. You could feel her emotional exhaustion.
