While this is a really interesting spin on the “interesting girl” dynamic by making the protagonist an unemotionless autist, it does make one realize clichés exist for a reason. It would've been fair better if the protagonist were the usual emotional hothead boiling with complex feelings and self-hatred over falling in love with the rapechad.
