Paco vs Ningbo is a contender for top 20 fights in the fucking franchise, from beginning to end it was Arakis best. All just such incredible character moments woven together with some of Arakis most creative and kinetic action sequences. The stands are so physical and “weak” compared to some of the more out there concepts from previous parts making the fights feel more weighted and realistic, you feel each bloody impact when a hit actually lands.

I think a common sentiment I was seeing at the end of the Part 8 story time was people saying they remembered the first half being good while reading it monthly and thinking the second half was shit but during the story time they realized the first half was shit and the second half was better. Usagi is the group's baby so he could die for an emotional moment
Paco is similarly the most trustworty one so I can see him dying in the endgame to hammer home some themes like connections making up machinations or whatever.

Quiet honestly I can see this being a part where no one dies like part 4 but it depends on what kind of tone he will go with in the rest of the story.

If we have to trust Rohan about the fact someone will betray the group (I know he doesn't specifically speak about a traitor, but more like "be careful who you trust", but still...) , I bet my money on Paco who, right now, is the goat. But, seeing the whole crew, he's the one whose personality and physique tends to overlap with Charming Man's. Jodio, Dragona and Usagi have alle different personalities, while Paco and Charming are both tall and muscular and both with a strong and rude personality. Plus, he's a kleptomaniac. Also, he's very attached to Meryl, which I think will be the one with he'll betray the crew.
Charming Man, I think he'll live, after all Araki at the start of this arc already gave a huge death flag on Mauka, and I'm referring about Charmy's clan words "The one who will laugh together in the family will surely meet again" (I don't recall the exact words). I think Mauka will be found dead and Charmy, remembering those words, will think they will meet again in another life or something like that.
Usagi could die like Narancia, for emotional value.
Dragona is 50/50, Jodio will give his best to save him, or he will grieve and mature after his loss.
