I would say that I noticed the very opposite of what you're talking about. The fight oriented Korean comics have a pleasant amount of MC struggling and grinding their way to the top, even in more "cheat oriented" stories, so to put it. They do tend to have somewhat unrealistic progressions of loser MC to capable, but I honestly don't mind it; it saves the reader time, if anything. In addition, the most memorable and relatable or inspiring portrayals of hard work being important I've seen have come from Korean stories, as ignorant as it might sound.

Sure, most of them are not great, but the same can be said about most manga nowadays, especially in the era of the absolutely awful isekai + slow life + cheat + whatever kinds of "stories", if you can even call them that.

If you have some specific example of "LE TALENT wank", I would have an easier time telling you if FC3 falls into that category or not. Obviously MC has pretty good talent, but he also struggles a lot, and has to play catch-up by pushing himself harder than the people around him, and loses a good amount too. You even have a poster boy of coasting on talent, Shim Ha-min, get absolutely wrecked by somebody that's talented AND put in an insane amount of work.

I see, maybe you've only read the most popular stuff, which is admittedly not of very high quality. But FC3 is not really like any of these. It's kind of funny you mention Lookism, because PTJ did actually make a good fighting manhwa (How to Fight) but only season 1. It was a nice read because he actually got input from professional fighters and other experts, and there was more to the fights than just squiggly lines and flashes of light. It's been a little over a year since the webtoon releases stopped with the end of season 1. 2hakk having long hiatuses is a given, as I mentioned earlier, but I imagine he will eventually start releasing again once he finishes the work on volume releases and stuff. It's not even the first long hiatus, I've gotten used to it. And if he needs them to keep the quality high, so be it.

That's the confusing part though. He actually very easily could have done it. It's just the addition of the Kazzy scene that fucks it up. There 2 whole pages before Tiger goes "Oh...?" and Ryuki throwing the kick. The flashback from this chapter was 3 (2.5 really) pages. Sandro could have just added it to last week's chapter and started this one with Koga and Kazzy running. Literally nothing would have changed. Not a single thing.
