there is a big japan event in my country every year, and last year I finally went to it. They had a stand that sold crepes the way they are eaten in japan, i.e. filled with stuff, usually some kind of cake
it was horrible. Totally overpriced shit that doesn't even taste that good. And this might be just this stand, but they totally faked it too by only having the actually filling be like 20% of it, and the rest was whipped cream.
A few months later I decided to make them on my own with proper fill content, and it was much better, still not something I would recommend. The taste doesn't justify the amount effort put into making something like that, just eat those things separately.
