I like that there are various in-groups, all with their own dynamics going on. All the girls have their own friends and family in the harem and that makes their interactions with Rito and among themselves more interesting.
Way too many harems have the girls just orbiting the MC or being background accessories. The way TLR set up the harem, you can drop Rito into any girl group or just mix and mach however you want and get a fun ecchi scenario out of it.
