I stopped watching when Eren turned into a Titan.
I was expecting the visual coolness of acrobatic fights by 3D maneuver gear with Titans, but naked Titans fighting each other in kickboxing is so ridiculous that I can't watch it.

I thought what Tomino said about this work is very true. The depiction of Titans made me feel offended, as if it was making fun of intellectually disabled people.
And all female characters are ugly.

Everything was perfect besides the ending. Why offer your head on a platter and give up at 80% when you could’ve just manipulated all the eldians into believing 100% was the only possibility since marley wasn’t making concessions? Gay cuck ending

Tomino didn't even read or watch it, he just blogposted about Isayama using ugly people as reference for titans.
He won't watch it because the titans are ugly, that's it.
That being said you got baited into watching a mecha anime so I don't blame you for dropping it if it isn't your cup of tea.
I picked up the manga specifically because it became very obviously mecha in the middle of the story because I have robot autism.
All the male characters are ugly too, the artstyle fucking sucks man.

SnK is a mecha series where the mechas are flesh and blood. That doesnt become clear until well after Eren first transforms, but once you accept that its a pretty entertaining series.

I would have preferred Eren stay dead.
When was the last time an anime killed a main character early in the series for good? Probably never.
A story without Eren, where other characters had to deal with grief and cope with meaningful deaths, would have been much more mature.

I mean Attack on Titan did. Eren is just considered “the main character” now because he wasn't killed off so early.
If he was, he'd be a character like Grischa. Extremely important to the plot but died very early on.

I have heard this many times and while I enjoy the series, it is interesting to think about what this route would look like. I remember the anime earning a lot of good will after the episode where eren dies; I think a lot of people really admired how bold that plot point would be if the author stuck to it.

Imagine if Isayama just makes a second title that branches here as in Stallman titan does bite Eren's spine and digests his fluids and then gains the Attack Titan and can tell them about the outside world instantly.

Note by the way that in the source material the entire training arc of the recruits were flashbacks that were only shown much later, the television series did many things out of order so it made Eren seem like a more important character. Eren getting eaten happened much, much sooner in the source material which also actually had him remain dead for several chapters rather than making it obvious from the get go that he was the Attack Titan.
