Well yes, I was obviously talking about one file per episode lol!
I get that you probably just want someone to fight, but well, I can explain anyway... When loading a subtitle track into a video player, its expecting a raw subtitle file, like .srt. While loading .mks is possible, if that file is a container with more than just text, such as custom fonts, then it isn't going to load in. This is how it works with VLC player anyway. So you end up needing to unpack the thing completely and then ideally you can just repack it all together in one video file, the .mkv and any .mks you want.
I personally prefer 1 file containing all sub options. I personally would be inconvenienced by having them as multiple files per episode. Especially given that I'm going to be moving and copying this file to multiple players. I tried it on my phone this morning, and its so good just being able to open the menu and switch out subs on the fly! I love the Jap subs because it helps me learn kanji. Anyway this is just my personal method for setting up my personal stuff! I'm very satisfied with what I have created for myself, but we shouldn't tell each other how to do things! I hope this explanation has helped you understand a little better, but if you have better methods, and nicer products that's great! ^_^
Do you like to share your creations with others via torrents or is it all for personal use?
