Uzuki then was forced to read the room on College(remember she didn't attend a normal HS and she had no friends when she did) and realized how unrealistic their goals were. She became the kind of people who would laugh at singers on the street(as explained by Koga)
The other 4 are normal people so they already could properly balance reality with ideals. Once Sakuta explained this, Uzuki realized she was needed autistic and went back to her usual self.

I loved season 1 but I didn't watch it with /a/. I also loved the movies. On the other hand, I hated Monogatari.

Do people actually get hung up on the pseudoscience? Once you get past the Futabababble and puberty magic, it's a series with very grounded themes.

It's a Monogatari rip-off but I can't call it terrible because it does a lot of stuff very differently from Monogatari and focuses so much more on socialization than the highly insular character. Monogatari never offered us an advertisement for alternative schooling options. It has its own merits, but it's just not very good. Comparing the direction between the two shows gives an obvious example of where Monogatari is just on another place of existence from this average stuff.

Zukki's arc kind of sucked though. Who the fuck is Santa? I have no clue if this character appeared before or not and it's yet another Mai-clone. Or is she an older Zukki? They all look the fucking same.
