Katarina Claes, an awakened memories type isekai character whom realizes she is a character from a video game. Katarina is a stuck up, retarded Nobel villainess destined to get killed or exiled at the end of a game but as a child she gets the memories of a kind but retarded country girl from modern day and decides to alter her fate by learning sword fighting to protect against being killed and learning to farm so she has a source of income incase she is exiled.
Unfortunately her brilliant plans are useless because she befriends all the other characters and helps them through their stereotypical VN character problems which naturally means they fall for her. So the book / manga / anime is her spending all day, everyday panicking about problems that don't exist because she is too dumb to realize she already solved them.

That's the best part, there is no "villainess" in the current timeline. The OG Katarina was one because she was so set in her ways about what was proper that she couldn't help but constantly bully everyone for every faux pas. She gets her just deserts after having been given like 50 off ramps to halt her behavior but is too stupid to realize.
New Katarina isn't an asshole but like the original doesn't quite grasp cause and effect so she just goes through life believing that everyone perceives her as an awful villainess with zero awareness that she is basically become the schools lovable mascot character that everyone finds endearing.

It's okay but not as good as the first. The first season is what I think was the sum total of what story was supposed to be and everything after that was the author / publisher realizing they had an unexpected hit.

Yeah but the point there is that Louise is a bad person at the start of the story. Her character arc is that she changes over time, begins to see the contradictions in her logic and eventually learns to respect people over status. OG Katarina got fucked over because she never did that, she refused to change in any way and just kept trucking along with the constant assholery until it got her killed.
