What anime films should be added to the Criterion collection?
The official website for The Criterion Collection company announced on Thursday that it will add an anime section to its Criterion Channel streaming service in August.
The service will add Ghost in the Shell, Redline, Paprika, and Tamala 2010: A Punk Cat in Space in August. The service is already streaming Naoko Yamada's Liz and the Blue Bird and five works by Makoto Shinkai: 5 Centimeters Per Second, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, The Place Promised in Our Early Days, She and Her Cat, and Voices of a Distant Star.

The Criterion Collection is actually a prestige film publisher that mainly does historically significant and arthouse films. Usually they get English translated staff commentaries and interviews, they do some good restoration work, and occasionally restore new elements of the film (Romero's original cut for Night of the Living Dead comes to mind).

Lol, no. They're just a distributor who offers things that usually come as a bonus features with premium prices, and that is supposed to make you feels better because their titles are "curated" carefully

2. Spirited Away
3. A Silent Voice (Koe no Katachi)
4. Weathering With You
