I enjoyed today's chapter, and too be honest, it's crazy how good Shinobigoto is compared to the other WSJ series we've gotten recently. Of them the only other series I'm even mildly interested in is Kaedegami.

Thanks. I just caught up with this and most of WSJ after a rather long break and I'm surprised at how much it has improved. I don't want to shit on Kiyoshi too hard, just mentioning it 'cuz the overall premise is similar, but Shinobi has handled the shift from comedy to action miles better.

Thinking back to Candy Flurry, that's true desu. I remember some CF panels had cool angles or style. But I bet they stood out because other panels were plain or visually boring.
Shinobi is at the level where I don't think about the art or layout.

Shinobi actually knows how to write characters. Something the other newer series in Jump lack. Even the side characters I like them enough to care about them. When a certain other series tries to pull these moments it falls completely flat.
