Kirakira Precure A La Review 40!

Its the homestretch and I'm wondering when these super forms are suppose to appear, or if it was movie exclusive. I don't know why but I'm nervous Ellsio is just a better looking skearhead. Anyway, can't stop writing, so 2 parter summary again!

Summary for the anons that need it: The real battle with the Cures and Julio versus Super Graves is about to begin, well as soon as Parfait stops fawning over her brother. Graves attacks and he is seemingly gaining more strength as Julio's attacks barely repell Graves, before taking all the cures to block the attacks. Its a losing battle and Julio calls for a tactical retreat. On the mountain everyone tries to work out a plan before the Nendos ascend. Julio points out that they need more Kira-kira power, but the only way is to make more. Their plan calls for a distraction which Julio and Bibury takes point as the Cures descend into the town to start baking. Bibury work their distractions for a good while as the Cures really start getting their Kira-kira generating. Its still not enough as the leftover Nendos attack; the cures still can't counter. Graves then casts more darkness ruining all the kira-kira generated. The cures hurry back to save Bibury and Julio, informing them the plan was a bust. Julio blocks one last attack, shattering his weapon. In a Hail Mary attempt, the Cures go for a purification but Graves smacks them down hard as he slowly becomes more furry and swallowing the mountain in darkness. The fear and cries of the fairies activates the town's animals. With the girls down Graves tells them his life's story, being a gangster that loved money a little too much, which caught Noir's eye. While the story is told the animals bring freshly picked fruit to the fairies and with Bibury keeping Graves talking, the fairies finally generate enough kira-kira to purify the town, weakening Graves as everyone stares at him, tired of his shit.

Graves quickly absorbs his Diable-car to become a DBZ monkey. With all the new Kira-kira in the air, its time for another purification, but now with a new attachment for their horse enema. Graves is completely downed and asks for Ellsio's help, but instead Ellsio just harvests all his negative kira-kira and warns the Cures the real fight begins now. COOKING DECORATION: SWEETS HOUSE!


While Bibury isn't the star of these episodes, she's really stepping up. She was shielding the fairies, then taking potshots at Graves and the Nendos, and then finally kept Graves talking while the fairies did their thing. Honestly she's been the MVP through the whole fight and I'm happy she's around. I want to tell how good of a girl she is, only for her to tell me how stupid I am.

Like I could actually see what was going on, but at the same time, was it a miracle? The staff shards passing the Obiwan-save-me-you-are-my-only-hope message was there, and the cats bringing the freshly picked fruits might have been the real miracle? All the ingredients ended up being corrupted, so wouldn't the fruits as well. One of those moments were being an adult is a bit of a detriment.

The director personally thinks that Chronost is dead. Ire returning from the past or not is open to interpretation. Mirai's VA got freaked out about the scene with the two kids in ep 12 (Mira and Lili) because she thought the world got rewritten completely. Mirai and Liko's VA's get asked about what they'd like to see in a sequel, Mirai's VA says F(h)uu-chan (to follow Haa and Hii). Liko's VA jokes about the Maho 3 title being MAGICAL DAYS. There were some different opinions during production on how to handle Hisui even though it ended up with her and Haa-chan in the same body. Hisui is depicted at ages 5/10/14. The character designer encourages viewers to watch the transformations and attacks frame by frame because a lot of talented people participated. Murayama was asked by Hamana to make things more "precure like", particularly the lines spoken during the ep 12 battle with Chronost. Mirai apparently doesn't drink. Murayama thinks for a sequel it would be fun to focus less on Precure stuff and more on Maho girl and witch shenanigans. Naito said there was an idea of doing a full episode taking place back during Mirai's time in middle school, but they decided against it. They really wanted to put Precure in a late night slot, but they also wanted to keep it Precure, so they just used the time slot to make the story more complex than usual. More young adult women were into Maho 2 than they expected. Naito acknowledges that Hisui became really popular so they want to include her in some form in the future and told people to look forward to future developments.
