I'll be honest. I never really got the hype

the whole plot felt gimmicky. I'm all for misogynistic manga, works that explore men's hatred of women, but it has to be dealt with delicately. that manga was just shock value without any depth, which is kind of disappointing. it had potential

This story isn't about misogyny or incel shit, I assume people saying that didn't read the incredibly short story and just assume so based on the attention-grabbing title. The actual premise isn't exactly subtle.
