That loli is a menace. How did she lead so many humans, vampires and even superior werewolves astray?

She acquired 2 fairly confidant simps and they did the rest of the work

No, the monsters were the vampires. I never sympathize with vampires or demons in these kind of shows.

I am sick of media trying to teach me lessons. Why can't I get a vampire show about blowing off fiends' heads with the power of Christ and violence?

No, the vampires were still the monsters as soon as the villagers figured it out.

Funny memes aside, why go so hard on the "Shiki are ruthless monsters" angle only to say "actually they were kinda right, feel bad for them now" and then say "Now you're all monsters, look at what you did"
Commit to one side or the other, otherwise you half-ass both.

Did they? Gay Priest tried to say that, and while the humans went extremely overboard at various points, I never got the sense that the humans were ever the monsters. The Shiki could easily coexist with humans, but have willingly chosen to feed on them. The only good Shiki are those who choose to commit suicide

To trick the weak minded? It isn't like the vampires were just trying to live peacefully in the mountains. They were horrible psychopathic murderers who wanted an isolated hunting ground where they could hunt at will, but they felt bad when shit didn't go their way and their meals slaughtered them instead.

The monk was objectively a fucking moron.

Point is pick a side and stick to, don't moralize to me and turn the characters who're being picked off into sociopaths whiling giving the monsters tragic backstories, and the village people instead doing only to defend themselves gleefully and sadistically murder their would be murderers in turn becoming the same kind of monster.
The author was clearly going for a "everyone kinda sucks" angle, which again, comes off as refusing to pick an angle for your vampire story.

The main point of the story isn't about which side is right, it's about way the characters act in their situation.
Anonymous No.280801463 [Report]
>>280801320
The "point" and what characters would do in their situation is survive. That people can and will be reduced to animals if given the right situation, and not feel an ounce of guilt doing do. "Both side" gleeefully filled their roles as monsters once the cuffs came off, killing in self defense is one thing, killing to stay alive is one thing, killing and then making sure you enjoy every second of pain, or feel nothing at all, is another.
Dress it up all you want, in the end the thesis of the story is still "both sides are bad", and any attempt to justify or moralize it is just cope

This series filtered knee-jerk retards like nothing else.
