I really want to like TakiTomo, but I can't, really. I like Taki way too much to see her be 3rd place in someone else's life. Sakiko and Anon mean too much to Tomori, and I can't really see Taki being able to change that. It makes me a bit sad, because Taki really has strong feelings for Tomori.

On the other hand, she really has a great relationship with Umiri, in that both of them understand each other almost perfectly, and that budding relationship she has with Raana is also really nice. Back to the titles you mentioned: NareNare feels like it was made for a longer runtime. As the series composition you can say Kakimoto failed, if 12 episodes weren't going to be enough concessions had to be made, parts of the story made simpler or cut. As a director? But it's still watchable. Kamitsubaki is still ongoing and I don't know the source material so I'm not gonna comment on that for now.

You forgot to mention Toji no Miko. That shit was good, CGI was a bit janky but it was a fun series, threads on /a/ were great. He wasn't a writer for it though.
